According to his LinkedIn profile, he participated in both the nerf club and the school's Christian fellowship while attending CalTech.
He was highlighted in a 2017 CalTech graduation announcement on Facebook, which showed images of him as a happy little boy clutching a stuffed rabbit and as an adult wearing a cardigan.

Allen stated that he was "currently developing a second game, working name 'First Law'" on his LinkedIn profile.
Records from the Federal Election Commission show that in October 2024, Allen gave $25 to Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.
